About me

Hello everyone, I’m the owner of this blog!
Well, I don’t really want to reveal my real name, so you can just call me Zed, Zed99, or n0obZed, like in the blog title.
As for why I chose the name “Zed,” it’s because Zed is the champion I play the most in League of Legends

Ok. Let’s talk a little bit about myself.
Hmm… I started out as a network administrator and spent a few years working at a university. During that time, I kept exploring and self-studying cybersecurity to expand my knowledge — and eventually earned a Master’s degree in Information Security.

After a while (thanks to a bit of luck — I’ll probably write a separate blog post about that). I got the opportunity to work as a Cybersecurity Analyst at a healthcare solutions company

I’ll also be sharing more about my self-learning journey in another post soon!

Well, about this blog… how should I put it?

I’m a really forgetful person. I’ve read tons of articles about attack techniques, cybersecurity concepts, and other tech stuff — but when I need to look them up again, I can never remember where I found them (yeah, I’m that forgetful :v)

So this blog was created as a place to collect and organize all those articles so I can easily revisit them later. I also upload the samething to Git just in case the site goes down for some reason :v

Aside from that, this blog might have posts about cybersecurity, networking, systems, and so on. But I also made a special section for when I just want to chill — it’s called AFK (Away From Keyboard). That’s where I share my outdoor moments, thoughts about work, or reviews of random stuff (mostly Kamen Rider figures, since I’m a huge fan of that series).

Aside from this blog, I also have a small YouTube channel, which honestly doesn’t have that many subscribers. Well, it’s mostly where I upload videos reviewing Kamen Rider figures – the ones I mentioned earlier. If you share the same hobby, feel free to check it out!

It’s been quite a while since I last uploaded anything though, mainly because I’ve been too lazy to set up my recording space. I’m trying to fix that now and make my setup look a bit nicer. That YouTube channel is pretty simple – I don’t really post tech or educational content there, since there are already plenty of experts doing that way better than I could.

Last but not least, I think some of you might be wondering why someone working in Cybersecurity like me would choose WP for my blog — a platform that’s basically a goldmine of PoCs you can easily find all over Google.

Hmm, I did try Drupal and Joomla, but honestly, I don’t have that much time to fully build and customize a blog with those CMSs. I know it’s kinda risky (and yeah, I’m a bit worried about it :v), especially since anyone who finds this blog probably has at least some background in cybersecurity. But since I don’t really have the time to dive deep into the other CMS options, I’ll just stick with WordPress — and try my best to keep the site secure and up to date.

Honestly, WordPress has made it so easy for me to build this blog — it only took a few hours of tinkering and a handful of helpful plugins. Big thanks and much appreciation to WordPress.
